FlexCAD Industrial Design Series: IDS-3DX

IDS-3DX creates 3D intelligent plant models from which 2D plant layouts, equipment arrangements, and piping orthos (reFlexOrtho) & isos (reFlexISO) can be generated, and against which BOMs & weight tables, as well as equipment, valve, instrument & line lists, may be reported. Intelligence resides in attributed data nodes for standard equipment, pipes, valves & fittings (PVF), and AISC steel members. PVF data is used at draw-time to fit-check spec, rating & size, and for FlexSNAP insertions.
